J.B. Priestley's CORNELIUS Receives NY Premiere at Brits Off Broadway at 59E59 Theaters by BWW News Desk - Apr 26, 2013
59E59 Theaters will welcome the Finborough Theatre production of J.B. Priestley's CORNELIUS, directed by Sam Yates, to Brits Off Broadway. Produced by Jagged Fence, Handsome Dog and 31 Productions, CORNELIUS begins performances on Saturday, June 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 30. Press opening is Tuesday, June 11 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM; Sunday at 3 PM & 7 PM. James and the Giant Peach, the beloved and well-read Roald Dahl story returns to Imagination Stage and teams up with the world premiere of The Magic Finger, one of Dahl's lesser known stories. The Humanities Institute's Public Humanities Lecture Series features Jill Lepore, the David Woods Kemper '41 Professor of American History at Harvard College and staff writer at the New Yorker on Wednesday, April 24, at 3:30 pm at the Wexner Center for the Arts Film/Video Theater. Lepore will discuss her new book, Book of Ages: The Life and Opinions of Jane Franklin (Knopf in 2013), a biography of Ben Franklin's sister. A reception and book signing will follow the lecture.
