Now in its 16th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook will continue to expand its scope celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. New this year, the opening night concert will befree, in the David Rubenstein Atrium, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. 'Live From Lincoln Center,' the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot four of the first week's American Songbook concerts in The Allen Room: by James Naughton, Lawrence Brownlee, Jason Isbell, and Patina Miller. These performances will be broadcast nationally beginning in Spring 2014. In addition, American Songbook concerts taking place in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center will be live-streamed via http://watch.lincolncenter.org.

Lyric Opera of Kansas City opens its 56th season with a Company premiere and new production of Vincenzo Bellini's The Capulets and the Montagues September 21, 25, 27 and 29, 2013 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Music Theatre of Connecticut School of the Performing Arts presents 'Annie.' The production will take place on Saturday, January 12 at 3pm and Sunday, January 13 at 3pm at Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court (off Post Road East) in Westport, CT. Peter Dinklage (GAME OF THRONES) emceed a sold-out benefit for The Play Company on Monday, April 30 at the American Airlines Theatre in Manhattan. Lauren Worsham, who most recently appeared as Amy in the City Center Encores! production of Where's Charley, will perform. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winner Peter Dinklage ("Game of Thrones") will serve as emcee for the event.
