Musical theatre lovers and many more should head over to George Street Playhouse (GSP) to see the new musical, A Walk on the Moon, now being performed through May 21.

The online concert premiere of the new musical Sticks & Stones will feature a star-studded cast including Audra McDonald, Javier Muñoz and George Salazar when it premieres Friday, October 16, 2020, as part of National Bullying Prevention Month. The stream benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Born This Way Foundation.

Playwright November Christine's new historical hip-hopera LEGACY THE MUSICAL ('Best of Fest,' 2018 New York Musical Festival) will have 3 staged reading performances at the HERE Arts Center. Cast includes Broadway's Nicholas Ryan (Beautiful), Jonathan Ritter (Finding Neverland), and Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof). They will be joined by Paul Blankenship, Brant Rotnem, David Lerner, Paul Aguirre, Maria Grace Reginaldi, Declan Meagher, Asha Jene, and Luisa Turner. Director Adrienne D.Williams helms with Musical Director Jacklyn Riha.

Freedom Summer is a new musical about the events surrounding the summer of 1964 in Meridian, Mississippi. The show follows the crusade for equality through racism, corruption and violence.

Broadway music like it's rarely heard will be performed tonight by The New York Pops Orchestra and Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA in Carnegie Hall. Five young Broadway veterans treated children from Brooklyn communities profoundly impacted by Hurricane Sandy to a special performance for the holidays on Sunday, December 16, 2012.
