Dark Horse Records has announced the release of Dreamers In The Field, the first-ever collaboration between Huun-Huur-Tu, Carmen Rizzo and Dhani Harrison. Mastered by Paul Hicks (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, George Harrison), Dreamers In The Field is now available for streaming everywhere while a very special, limited edition clear vinyl pressing is being released exclusively for Record Store Day on April 20. Listen to the project here!

Accompanying the announcement, the band shared two new tracks, including focus single, 'Water' and a b-side 'Connecticut,' which was hailed as 'masterfully crafted' and 'tantalizing,' proclaiming, ''Water' and 'Connecticut' beckon listeners into Lo Moon's sonic universe.'

New Jersey Performing Arts Center will present an intimate evening with David Foster and Katharine Mcphee performing their hits and holiday favorites. 

The consistently busy musical director Michael Orland books gigs on both coasts juggling the multitude of vocalists all vying to have his piano expertise to accompany them. One of his next shows in Los Angeles will be his Open Mic Event at the Write-Off Room March 22, 2024. Michael managed to answer a few of my queries during his drive to Palm Springs.  

With a 'popera' voice, skillfully divided among sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, and contraltos, as acclaimed by legendary record producer and arranger David Foster, Elena Matei's debut single, 'Rock It,' is poised to be a captivating introduction. The track emphasizes our shared humanity and the interconnectedness of our experiences.

'Water' is currently charting on AAA radio, thanks to plays on KEXP, XPN, KCRW and more. Both tracks were written by Matt Lowell and produced by Mike Vernon Davis(Ratboys, Pool Kids, Great Grandpa), with Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode, U2, Ride, The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, The Smashing Pumpkins) mixing the record.

Foster breaks out songs from his rolodex of hits and shares the stage with friends (and family) on the Kennedy Center stop of his tour of An Intimate Evening with David Foster and Katharine McPhee.
