The Mental Notion Society and Plan 9 Burlesque present 'Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque.' In parody to the Chuck Palahniuk novel & David Fincher movie, an insomniac crosses paths with a soap-maker who widens her eyes to what's important to life. In doing so, the duo create an underground fighting club which ultimately grows into city mass mischief. Plan 9 Burlesque teams up with the Mental Notion Society in making their debut burlesque play production. Fight Club: A Project Mayhem Burlesque makes its initial 6-week run, every Today at 8:00 pm from March 7th thru April 11th, 2013, at the Public House Theatre, 3914 N. Clark St., Chicago, Ill. Syfy & Robert Zemeckis Partner to Produce New Thriller NO PLACE by TV News Desk - Apr 10, 2013
Syfy is joining creative forces with FOX Television Studios, Academy Awardİ-winning director/producer Robert Zemeckis, producers Jack Rapke and Jackie Levine, and feature film writing team John Brancato and Michael Ferris (Terminator Salvation, The Game) to develop the series project No Place, it was announced today by Mark Stern, President of Original Content, Syfy and Co-Head Original Content, Universal Cable Productions. Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz,and Rafe Spall will star on Broadway in Harold Pinter's BETRAYAL, directed by ten-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols. BETRAYAL will begin performances on Tuesday, October 1 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Opening night is Sunday, November 3. Don't want to fork out the basic Netflix package of $7.99 a month to check out HOUSE OF CARDS? Amazon is currently taking preorders for the series' DVD release - apparently set for June 11. Sony Entertainment, as Deadline reports, hasn't made the official announcement that the Kevin Spacey-led series would even get a DVD release, but according to Amazon, it obviously is. The online marketplace is now offering the first (and potentially only) season of CARDS for a special pre-order price of $44.99. (more...)

The Flea has announced that Thirteen WNET will be filming the critically acclaimed production of THE VANDAL on March 29. A broadcast date has not been slated. Written by actor Hamish Linklater (School for Lies, Twelfth Night, Recent Tragic Events & The Busy World is Hushed, and TV's The New Adventures of Old Christine), The Vandal runs through March 31.
