This group of artists, brought together by composer Scott Alan's 2011 performance Master Class, has created a cabaret as the culmination of a year of self-discovery, workshops and collaboration. Through monthly group assignments, we've discovered just how essential we are to each other's process, and how much better life can be when we journey together - wherever we are.

On Monday, September 26, 2011, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB in the D-Lounge, a monthly platform for emerging musical theatre writers (now in its 4th year), at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

Theatrebam Chicago presents Schoolhouse Rock Live! at Mary's Attic upstairs at Hamburger Mary's, 5400 N. Clark St. in Chicago every Thurs., Fri., Sat. at 8 p.m. from Sept. 9 through Oct. 15. Tickets can be purchased for $11 each at www.schoolhouserocklive.net/tickets in advance or at the door beginning at 7:30 for $15. Tony Nominee Melissa Errico joined a slate of outstanding artists from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and other mediums for 'The Bridge: Where Hope and Respect Come Together,' a benefit concert celebrating the work of the Crime Victims Treatment Center starting at New World Stages. Performers and volunteers for this amazing evening came together to ensure that the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC)-located at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center-can continue its groundbreaking work empowering survivors of violent crimes including sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. The event was conceived of and organized by former clients of CVTC who were moved to give back to the program that helped them heal.
