Today, the Chicago Humanities Festival revealed its full line-up for the Fallfest/17: Belief. New additions to the line-up including Tony-award winning playwright Tony Kushner, Rolling Stone writer Matt Taibbi, Aspen Institute President and CEO Walter Isaacson, French philosopher and social critic Bernard-Henri Levy, filmmaker Joe Swanberg, Obama Presidential Center architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien, and Publican chef Paul Kahan.

Pittsburgh Opera continues its 77th season with a Mozart favorite - COSÌ FAN TUTTE, or the 'School for Lovers.'
'Britain's Favorite Baritone,' Sir Thomas Allen (the real-life inspiration for 'Billy Elliot') not only directs, but plays the cynical philosopher Don Alfonso in this charming production. Combine a cast as talented as they are attractive with Mozart's brilliant score, and you have a sublime opera experience of poignant comedy. Set in the Italian seaside, the story centers around two couples and one wager - will they be faithful? Two young military officers are confident their girlfriends will remain true to them. Don Alfonso believes otherwise, and unleashes an inventive scheme to find out.

The 97th annual Pulitzer Prizes in Journalism, Letters, Drama and Music, awarded on the recommendation of the Pulitzer Prize Board, were announced earlier today by Columbia University. For a distinguished play by an American author, preferably original in its source and dealing with American life, Ten thousand dollars ($10,000).

Following 5 weeks of national auditions, CAMP BROADWAY®, the award-winning theater arts education company has announced its cast of 132 theatre-loving kids, ages 12-16, to perform in the 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade®. The talented performers will appear on the ZhuZhu Pets®Zhu-niversefloat and perform an original song on the national broadcast of the parade on Thanksgiving morning, November 24.
