David Spade, host of Comedy Central's new nightly late-night series, Lights Out with David Spade, today announced on Instagram the panelist line-up for the first week of the show.

The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced Saturday Night Stand Up, an evening of non-stop laughter featuring The Feminoles with special guest Angel Laketa Moore, on Saturday, August 24, at 8pm. 

A new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is heading to Netflix on July 19, 2019.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced the first 11 new shows to be added to its 2019 2020 season, continuing its tradition of showcasing a diverse lineup of chart-topping musicians, compelling dance companies, and groundbreaking storytellers. Robert Dubac's newest Off-Broadway solo hit, The Book of Moron, makes its appearance at the Washington Pavilion for a limited engagement February 1-2, 2019. The show will be in the intimate Belbas Theater for three performances.

I had the chance to catch up with Ms. Piper as she was preparing to make her way to Palm Springs for her show this weekend. Here are a few excerpts from that interview:

Myles Weber is a Comedian on a mission. He took first place at the 40th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition (past competitors include Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Sinbad, Ellen Degeneres, Louis CK, and Dane Cook), and was the second youngest to win the competition and one of only two comics to ever sweep the whole thing. He has also fared well in festivals, having been voted "Best of The Fest" at the Burbank and San Luis Obispo Comedy Festivals.
