Cabaret’s newest rising star, Marissa Mulder, is set to bring her celebrated cabaret act ‘ILLUSIONS’ to The Triad on Saturday, June 16th at 7pm, presented by Dan Whitten/Tiger Theatricals. Mulder won the Metropolitan Room’s 2011 MetroStar Challenge and grew up in Syracuse, New York and graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2007 where she studied musical theatre. (more...)

Presented by Dan Whitten, Mark Beigelman, Peter Martin and Tiger Theatricals, Jacques Brel RETURNS... is a new cabaret production now in its second year featuring a rotating cast performing highlights from Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris as well as Brel songs not in the original score. Astaire Awards Associate Producer Carolyn Kendall Buchter and Alix Michel, the Co-Chairs of the 30th Anniversary Awards Gala were also on hand to welcome guests that included such theater world glitterati as 5 time Astaire Award winner Susan Stroman, producers Emanuel Azenberg, Wendy Federman and Dan Whitten, SDC Executive Director Laura Penn, Lee Roy Reams, Bruce Michael, NYC Dance Alliance Executive Director Joe Lanteri, J.
