Old Library Theatre Presents JEKYLL & HYDE, 10/12-28

Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theatre company, Old Library Theatre, presents Jekyll & Hyde, a gothic musical conceived for the stage by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn. Under the direction of Patrick Stevens, of Dover, and musical direction of Anthony Bevilacqua, of Garfield, Jekyll & Hyde will be performed at the George Frey Center for Performing Arts from October 12-14, 19-21 & 26 and 28, with shows at 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Although musicals based on biblical topics are not uncommon, Jesus Christ Superstar was considered controversial when it first opened in the 1970s. (more...)
