As it celebrates its 15th Year, The Young Hollywood Awards, long regarded as the "Oscars of Young Hollywood," will partner with The CW Network to broadcast this year's star-studded red-carpet event on Thursday, August 1 (8:00-10:00p.m. ET/PT). The announcement was made today by Jay Penske, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Penske Media Corporation (PMC), owner and Executive Producer of the award show, and Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW. Hyde Park International Acquires International Rights to LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN

Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park International (HPI) announced today that the company has picked-up international rights to directors Will Finn and Daniel St. Pierre's 3D animated family adventure film LEGENDS OF OZ: DOROTHY'S RETURN starring Lea Michele, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi and Kelsey Grammer. The film is from a script by Adam Balsam and Randi Barnes, based on the series of books by Roger Stanton Baum. Bonne Radford is producing alongside Ryan Carroll and Roland Carroll of Summertime Entertainment. (more...)

The show opened on Broadway last night, and a starry audience including Dakota Fanning, Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Winona Ryder, Sienna Miller, Anna Chlumsky, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richard Schiff, Anna Wintour, Debbie Harry, Melissa Errico and Patrick McEnroe, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Shannon. Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) has entered into a multi-year pact with YouTube original drama channel WIGS. Building upon News Corporation's initial investment, FOX and WIGS have formed a programming, marketing and distribution partnership designed to expand the breadth of offerings through the WIGS channel, and test and nurture dramatic concepts and talent in the digital realm. Under the terms of the partnership agreement, FOX will assume a collaborative role in developing and marketing the channel to grow its base of female viewers, with an eye toward building content that can be programmed on FOX and/or other channels.
