JOHN PUTCH'S follow up film to ROUTE 30, entitled ROUTE 30, TOO! will have a special event screening on April 4TH 2013 at the ALAMO DRAFT HOUSE in Winchester, VA.

TBS's new competition series King of the Nerds got off to a strong start last night in the network's key demos. The series launch drew more than 1.2 million adults 18-49 in Live + Same Day, with 586,000 adults 18-34. In all, the premiere attracted 2 million total viewers.

TBS's upcoming competition series King of the Nerds is set to welcome several prominent guest judges, including George Takei, from STAR TREK; Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, best known for portraying Jay & Silent Bob; Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci from the comedy duo Garfunkel & Oates; Adam Busch from TBS's MEN AT WORK; costume designer and international model and cosplay entertainer Yaya Han; USC debate team coach Gordon Stables; Bravo's TOP CHEF ALL-STARS winner Chef Richard Blais; and musician and rapper MC Frontalot.

TBS‘ KING OF THE NERDS, features hosts/exec producers Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong of Revenge Of The Nerds fame and Silverman also exec producing.

Sometimes the career you end up with is quite different from what you originally intended. Such is the case with Sue McMurtray. Although a career in show business was not one of her original intentions, McMurtray is retiring as Managing/Marketing Director at South Central Pennsylvania's famous Totem Pole Playhouse, after 28 years. Before McMurtray became a fixture at the summer theater she attended nursing school, became an x-ray technician and eventually ran the historic Penn National Inn, located nearby the Totem Pole Playhouse, between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Thursdays are about to get nerd-tastic. TBS has announced its new unscripted competition series King of the Nerds will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning Jan. 17. Hosted by actors Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds), King of the Nerds is the ultimate nerd-off. The series will follow 11 fierce competitors from across the nerd spectrum as they set out to win $100,000 and be crowned the greatest nerd of them all. TBS will pair King of the Nerds on Thursday nights with the network's chart-topping telecasts of The Big Bang Theory.

NBC today announced that Paget Brewster will guest-star in a special two-hour season premiere of LAW & ORDER: SVU. Currently the longest-running drama series on television, the show's 14th season will premiere tonight, September 26 from 9-11 pm ET. Brewster, who most recently starred as Emily Prentiss on 'Criminal Minds,' will guest star as the head of the DA's Public Integrity Unit who has the unenviable task of handling the case against Captain Cragen (Dann Florek), who is under suspicion of murder.

Cougar Town, the acclaimed sitcom starring Golden Globe(R) nominee Courteney Cox, is moving to TBS. The top-rated network has ordered a fourth season of Cougar Town, and has announced a start date of Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Main St. Chambersburg, Penn., followed by an October 6th Premiere in Gettysburg at the Majestic Theatre. Putch and some of his cast and crew will be in Chambersburg for the premiere to participate in an audience Q&A after the screenings, and to sign DVDs of both films which will be available for purchase at the venue.

TBS has ordered six episodes of DEON COLE'S BLACK BOX, starring CONAN writer and performer Deon Cole. The network has also ordered nine episodes of WHO GETS THE LAST LAUGH?, a new series from Punk'd co-creators Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher.
