Emmy(R) Award nominee Maura Tierney ('ER') has joined 'The Whole Truth' as a series regular. The new drama series from Jerry Bruckheimer Television will air Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00 p.m., ET this fall on ABC. The Waterfront Playhouse presents 'BitchSlap!'starring Christopher Peterson as Bette Davis, Randy Roberts as Joan Crawford and Vanessa McCaffrey as Hedda Hopper. Written and directed by Darrin Hagen, 'BitchSlap!' played to completely sold out houses during the 2009 WFPH run. Now back by popular demand, it runs for two weeks only, March 30 to April 10 at 8 pm. 'Solares Hill' said of the 2009 production, 'The three larger-than-life stars charmingly captured the legendary divas.' The show is sponsored by KEY TV, with their 70th season sponsored by El Meson de Pepe's, Comcast and Digital Island Media.

The 41st annual NAACP Image Awards were held on Friday, February 26 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Amongst the winners were the film 'Precious' which picked up the award for Best Motion Picture, Morgan Freeman won for his role in 'Invictus' and Gabourney Sibide garnered Best Actress for her leading role in 'Precious'. The ceremony was hosted by NAACP Image Award nominee and Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose and bestselling author and actor Hill Harper. As previously announced, Tyler Perry, received the Chairman's Award, and Wyclef Jean received the Vanguard Award.
