Magical Music for Life Foundation presents its second annual Tunes in Times Square benefit concert tonight, May 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on the Broadway Pedestrian Plaza between 46th & 47th Streets in Times Square. This will be a continuous sing-a-thon, with members of the Broadway community, talented children & groups from the tri-state area, and the Magical Music singing groups taking turns on the stage. The new American musical Hands on a Hardbody just celebrated opening night last night, March 21, at Broadway's Brooks AtkinsonTheatre (256 West 47th Street). The cast and creative team gathered at the Roseland Ballroom with their real-life counterparts from the documentary on which the musical is based. After last summer's hugely successful "Broadway Sings The 90's," 'The TRL Generation' returns at the Canal Room on Sunday, March 3rd at with "Broadway Loves Britney," a song and dance extravaganza paying tribute to our generation's princess of pop, Ms. Britney Spears. The 9:30PM concert will be produced and musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala and directed by Kyle Fox, with musical arrangements and orchestrations by Joey Contreras, Benjamin Rauhala, and Charlie Rosen.
