Patti Murin and Colin Donnell have just released their first joint album! Titled Something Stupid after the 1967 Carson and Gaile song, the album is available to purchase now. In this video, the couple checks in with Richard Ridge to talk all about putting it together!

The first album from producer Robbie Rozelle checks all the boxes.

Conceived during lockdown, Murin and Donnell engineered their own vocals for the record from their newly formed home studio. The album goes far beyond the couple’s well-known musical roots to include a variety of genres and beloved songs by Bruce Springsteen, Sara Bareilles, Jason Robert Brown, Paul Simon, and more.

MCC Theater will produce a four-week development workshop of a new musical, Hearts Beat Loud, to be presented on February 9 & 10, 2023. Hearts Beat Loud is based on the inspiring 2018 indie film set in Red Hook (starring Nick Offerman and Toni Collette).

Maybe the Holmdel Theatre should consider changing its name to Arendelle, the kingdom in Disney’s popular Frozen franchise. Patti Murin, better known to some as Princess Anna, will take the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, November 5 as part of the theater’s Broadway in the Barn series.

Written, directed and produced by Academy Award honoree Tyler Perry, the film stars Joshua Boone and Solea Pfeiffer as star-crossed lovers Bayou and Leanne alongside an ensemble cast that includes Amirah Vann, Austin Scott, Milauna Jemai Jackson, Brent Antonello, Brad Benedict, Kario Marcel, Lana Young and Ryan Eggold. A Strange Loop has arrived on Broadway at last and we've got photos of the stars on the opening night purple carpet. The Broadway production of Michael R. Jackson's Pulitzer-Prize winning musical, opened just last week at the Lyceum Theater.

It's all happening! The new musical Almost Famous will arrive on Broadway later this year, according to the show's official website. An exact timeline has not yet been announced.

Last night, the best of Broadway gathered at Carnegie Hall to join The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, for its 39th Birthday Gala, For the First Time In Forever: The Songs of Kristen and Bobby Lopez.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. That total is inclusive of a generous matching donation by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which matched the first $50,000 worth of donations.

More celebrity guests have been added to Stars in the House For Ukraine – the 10-hour telethon to raise money and awareness for those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, the show will air live on Saturday, March 26th from 12:00pm ET – 10:00pm ET.
