Jujamcyn Theaters has announced that this year's Clarence Derwent Award-winner Leslie Kritzer will return to Broadway next season as a star of A Catered Affair, the new musical with book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, score by John Bucchino and directed by Tony Award-winner John Doyle.

Variety.com reports that actress Leslie Kritzer (Legally Blonde) and composer-writer-actor Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) are the two winners of Actors' Equity's Clarence Derwent Award, given out annually to the season's most promising male and female performers.

John Mahoney (films Primal Fear, The American President, Steppenwolf's The Man Who Came to Dinner) will appear as the special guest on 'Downstage Center,' on XM's On Broadway (XM Channel 28) this Friday, April 6 at 6 p.m.
