Pioneer Theatre Company's professional production of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND is a creative reimagining of the star-crossed story.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club presents HEART OF THE CITY, the songs of mother/daughter writing team Kristen and Luanne Rosenfeld on March 30.

The professional regional premiere of the musical ONCE ON THIS ISLAND opens at PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY (PTC) on FEBRUARY 21, 2020 and runs through MARCH 7, 2020. Tickets for this production can be purchased by calling 801-581-6961 or by visiting pioneertheatre.org.

Syracuse Stage rings in the holiday season with the family musical a?oeDisney's Beauty and the Beast,a?? directed by Donna Drake and choreographed by Anthony Salatino with musical direction by Brian Cimmet. Preview performances begin Nov. 22. Opening night is Nov. 29, with performances scheduled through Jan. 5. The Piper, a new musical unfaithfully adapted from a?oeThe Pied Piper of Hamelina?? by Robert Browning receives one of three staged reading slots at Rave Theater Festival. The staged reading will be presented on Monday, August 19th at 12pm at Teatro Latea at The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center (107 Suffolk Street, New York NY 10002).

The New Group and Vineyard Theatre just celebrated opening night of Jeremy O. Harris' 'Daddy,' with Alan Cumming, Tommy Dorfman, Fran Jaye, Kahyun Kim, Hari Nef, Ronald Peet and Charlayne Woodard, in a world premiere production directed by Danya Taymor. 

It was announced today that the Tony Award winning Best Revival will close on Sunday, January 6, 2019. When it closes this production will have played 29 previews and 458 performances.

The producers of Once On This Island announced today that in honor of one year on Broadway they will celebrate their fans during the week of October 29. Once On This Island announced today that the Grammy Award-winning artist and Destiny's Child singer Michelle T. Williams will return to Broadway as Erzulie in the Tony Award winning Best Revival starting Friday, November 30. Michelle T. Williams will play the role through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Once On This Island not only was a surprise winner at this year's Tony Awards when it took the Best Musical Revival Award, but its mascot goat, Sparky, became the darling of the night when it walked the red carpet. Hailey Kilgore will return to role of Ti Moune in Once On This Island tonight, Tuesday, September 4. Hailey has been out of the show due to a foot injury.

Actors' Equity Association has announced that Once on This Island will receive the eleventh annual Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2017-2018 season. Presented by Equity's National Equal Employment Opportunity Committee, the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award honors shows that exemplify and promote the union's founding principles of diversity, inclusion, non-traditional casting and equal opportunity for all who work in the theatre.

Disney Theatrical Productions just celebrated its first stage-to-television collaboration with the Disney Channel in adapting its original stage musical Freaky Friday for a worldwide televised premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, August 10th.
