Actor Christina DeCicco Sisko was honored last Sunday, June 7 at Wagner College's annual alumni reunion weekend. She was named a Wagner Alumni Fellow in recognition of her distinguished stage career.

Akhenaten: The Musical, a new Broadway bound show Created and Directed by Hisham Abdel Khalek, Book by Hisham Abdel Khalek and Mohamed Metwally (Lyrics), Music by Hesham Nazih  and Choreographed by Multi-Award Winner Chet Walker (Pippin, Fosse), will receive a invitation-only reading on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 2PM.

The award-winning CAP21 Theatre Company has announced casting for the first production of a new musical, THE ARTIST & THE SCIENTIST, with book and lyrics by Jenny Stafford, music by Brandon Anderson, and story by Jenny Stafford and Brandon Anderson. THE ARTIST & THE SCIENTIST is a love story that takes place in the moment between the Scientist's proposal and the Artist's answer. The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) has announced that it will dedicate its annual fundraising event to the Creative Arts Team (CAT) Youth Theatre. The song and dance filled evening featuring over a dozen Broadway artists will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the Lower East Side's cultural landmark for more than 35 years and will be hosted by Broadway Veteran Colin Cunliffe (Pippin, Addams Family, Cry-Baby).

The York Theatre Company will present a staged reading of Benjamin Button, a new musical with music by Natalie Tenenbaum and book and lyrics by Brett Boles. Stephen Nachamie will direct. The musical is based on the short story authored by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
