Veteran director Anne Bogart and her innovative SITI Company are pleased to announce their 2009-2010 first full-New York season. Considered by many to be one of America's national treasures, the ensemble theater company SITI has garnered praise for its thought-provoking and visually compelling work, emphasizing the cross-cultural exchange of dance, music and art, and international collaborations.

Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will present The Age of Iron, an epic retelling of the Trojan War, drawn from Shakespeare's Troilus & Cressida and Thomas Heywood's Iron Age, adapted and directed by Brian Kulick. Previews for The Age of Iron will begin Friday, November 6, with an official opening Sunday, November 22 at Classic Stage Company at 7pm. The Age of Iron will play a limited engagement through December 13 only.

Due to strong tickets sales and critical reception, Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, has extended the run of its new production of William Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST starring Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin through Sunday, October 19.

Jenen, will present the return of its popular First Look Festival - a program of one-night only staged readings, performed by notable actors. This season, the CSC First Look Festival turns its gaze to the works of Bertolt Brecht, perhaps one of the most influential playwrights of the 20th Century. Brecht's plays redefined the very nature of theatrical presentation to address the most pressing concerns of his tumultuous generation. CSC will be presenting four of Brecht's seminal works: The Caucasian Chalk Circle, In the Jungle of Cities, The Good Person of Sezuan, and Life of Galileo.
