Starz brought Miami Beach to Tar Beach with a day-long consumer event featuring 'summer fun' vintage beach wear fashion shows (50s & 60s period designs, bikinis and one pieces), styled by Emmy Award winning costume designer, Carol Ramsey showcasing and inspired by the period series that premieres Friday, June 14th. Fans had a chance to view a classic 1959 convertible, take part in beach blanket bingo and other fun in the sun activities and be served by some of the most handsome cabana boys ever to take Manhattan. 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards Shined in New York

Last night, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards and commemorated the organization's 50th anniversary at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. TV personality and Bravo executive Andy Cohen was the host for the evening. For the twelfth year in a row, the evening was generously underwritten by Swarovski. (more...)

Starz announced today that their 1950's Miami-based drama, 'Magic City' will return with an all new season on Friday, June 14th at 9pm ET/PT, one week following the finale of the Starz Original series 'Da Vinci's Demons' on Friday, June 7th. Rap Icon Rick Ross Joins STARZ's MAGIC CITY

'Magic City' has added another famous face to its all-star lineup. Season two of the critically acclaimed series will feature legendary rapper Rick Ross as 'Butterball,' the proprietor of an illegal Cuban/American gambling house in Miami known as a 'bolita,' (the numbers racket). There are numerous bolitas in the Miami area and not surprisingly, Ben 'the Butcher' Diamond (Golden Globe(R) nominee for Best Supporting Actor, Danny Huston) is getting a cut from the illicit operations. The 2012 Genie Awards were handed out last Thursday in Toronto, celebrating the best in Canadian film and television. Many stars were on hand, including Viggo Mortensen (showing some major support for the Montreal Canadiens) and Jason Priestly.
