T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre hosted a Salute to New York Theatre to honor a trio of New York theatre luminaries last night, November 12th, at the Maritime Hotel (363 West 16th Street at 9th Avenue). This year's group of honorees included Tony Award-winning actress Judith Light, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley and NY1 theatre critic Roma Torre. Among the presenters last night were The Perfomers' Broadway star Henry Winkler, playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis and more. Check out photos from the event below! (more...)

As told by eight actors and a musical instrument, this 90-minute show unfolds against the backdrop of Prohibition in the big city. Laurence Lesher directs this production, in which one actor plays the twin leads, Viola and Sebastian, and another plays Antonio and Orsino. (more...)

Random Access Announces TWELFTH NIGHT Free NY Park Performances for 3/11-20 by BWW News Desk - Mar 30, 2012
Random Access Theatre Company will continue their 2012 season with TWELFTH NIGHT, by William Shakespeare, Directed by Lawrence Lesher. Twelfth Night will open with one ticketed benefit performance before a run of free park performances throughout New York City. Taking place at Wi-Fi High in Anywhere, USA, Virtually Me! is an entirely original, educational musical for today's blogging, emailing, Facebooking, IM'ing, and texting generation. Originally directed by Jeremy Dobrish, this touring production has been remounted by Gina Rattan, and features choreography by Wendy Seyb, music by Jeff Thomson, lyrics by Jordan Mann, and a book by Jeremy Desmon and Jeremy Dobrish.
