Four weeks of full houses for STABILIZED NOT CONTROLLED have prompted theatre owner Cheryl King to add two performances following the Memorial Day Weekend. Frank Blocker's very-New York, tour-de-force comedy will perform May 29 and 30, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 pm, Stage Left Studio, 214 W 30th Street. Weekly shows continue Sundays at 5:00 pm through May and June.

MetroStage presents Be Careful! The Sharks Will Eat You!, a one-man show written and performed by Jorge "Jay" Alvarez, who tells a story of bravery, selflessness, and unimaginable courage and survival: the story of his family's escape from the oppression of Fidel Castro's Cuba in 1964. Alvarez offers an autobiographical, multigenerational and cross-cultural performance.
