Syfy Orders New Competition Series EXIT

Building off the success of its hit series Face Off and Total Blackout, Syfy today announced an expansion of its reality competition programming with the greenlighting of Exit. Based on the Nippon Television Network's hit Japanese series Dero!, Exit is an all-new six episode series hosted by Curt Doussett (America's Lost Treasures, Hazard Pay) set to premiere June 4 at 10PM ET/PT. NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, the number one show of the summer, began broadcasting live two nights a week from its brand new home at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Monday, July 2nd (9-11 pm ET) and tonight, July 3rd (9-10 pm ET). AGT kicks off its first live results show of the season with a special performance tonight, July 3rd from seven-time Grammy Award winner, will.i.am, where he will make the primetime network debut of his new single, 'This Is Love,' featuring Eva Simons. In addition to will.i.am, Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil, the visually stunning acrobatic spectacular that blends circus arts with the surreal, will perform a specially choreographed act on Tuesday's results show. Despite enjoying a boosted profile thanks in part to a supposed copycat performer on last year's Britain's Got Talent, Frisky & Mannish are hard to describe succinctly. 'Pop songs with a twist' was the best I could manage outside the venue when a curious attendee asked, but this duo absolutely needs to be seen to be understood, and there really aren't many better ways to spend an hour at this or any other Fringe.
