TBS to Premiere MEN AT WORK Season 2 in April

TBS has announced premiere dates for two of its original series set to hit the air in April. The network's hit original sitcom Men at Work is scheduled to launch its second season Thursday, April 4, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT). And TBS's new competition series Who Gets the Last Laugh? is set to premiere Tuesday, April 16, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT). (more...)

Christina Bianco to Return to NEWSICAL, 1/29; Carson Kressley Joins as Guest Star

Original NEWSical cast member Christina Bianco returns to Off-Broadway's smash hit NEWSical The Musical on January 29th one week prior to Carson Kressley's premiere. Bianco replaces Hairspray vet Susan Mosher who is leaving the production to star in Gordon Greenberg's The Single Girls Guide at Capital Repertory. Bianco was seen in NEWSical for three years spoofing everyone and everything from Sarah Palin's political ambitions, to Kim Kardashian's short-lived first marriage, to Lady Gaga's fight for equality, to Christina Aguilera's memorable National Anthem mishap. With Bianco's return to NEWSical so will the fan-favorite sketch involving Celine Dion's take on "The Hokey Pokey". (more...)

BAD PARENTS Opens in Ridgewood Tonight; Reiko Aylesworth and More to Appear at Red Carpet Event

I'm That Parent! Ridgewood Filmmaker Caytha Jentis's film, Bad Parents, is a satirical comedy inspired by her own experiences in North Jersey about the over-zealous parents on an under 8 girls club soccer team. It takes a poke at the world of over-obsessed parents in soccer, though the theme is so Universal that any parent of a child athlete may realize 'I'm That Parent!' Bad Parents has been premiering throughout the country and is coming home to the Ridgewood Clearview Warner Quad, 190 East Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood, NJ for (4) 7:30 pm showings on January 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st. An edited version children will enjoy will be shown on January 24th at 5pm. A Special Red Carpet Event will be held on Opening Night only, tonight, January 23rd, at 6:30pm in the lobby. Scheduled to appear are: Reiko Aylesworth from Bad Parents (also Hawaii 5-0, 24), Emmy Winning Actress/Producer Martha Byrne, Jaqueline Madden (of VH1) and other special guests. (more...)

Carson Kressley to Join Cast of NEWSICAL, 2/6

Emmy-winning television star Carson Kressley joins the cast of off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for four weeks only. NEWSical The Musical is the forever changing, completely un-sanitized musical mockery of all the news that's fit to spoof. From the looming fiscal cliff crisis to the pope opening a Twitter account to Honey Boo Boo, NEWSicalThe Musical sets all of today's biggest pop culture headlines to song. Kressley is the latest star to grace the NEWSical The Musical stage. Previously, celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton joined the show for a limited run, followed by Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle and most recently, Saturday Night Live's Cheri Oteri. Cheri Oteri Extends NEWSICAL Run Through 1/13

After exceeding box office expectations, former Saturday Night Live funny-girl Cheri Oteri has announced she will extend her four-week run in off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for two additional weeks. Ms Oteri's last scheduled performance was originally scheduled for December 30th; due to popular demand, she will now continue through January 13th. (more...)
