Actors Fund Gala Raises $1.4 Million

The Actors Fund's annual gala yesterday evening at the New York Marriott Marquis raised a record-breaking $1.4 million, as more than 750 guests gathered to honor Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro, the pay television company HBO and entrepreneur/film producer and Fund trustee and treasurer Steve Kalafer. The trio each received the Medal of Honor, the highest award given from the 131-year old non-profit human services organization. (more...)

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC Pack Coming on 4/16 with New Multiplayer Maps & More

Call of Duty fans are set to receive another premium offering of Downloadable Content (DLC) with Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising on April 16. The game's second, epic DLC pack of the year from award-winning studio Treyarch and Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard (ATVI), will be available first, exclusively on Xbox LIVE for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft beginning on April 16, with other platforms to follow. Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising will include four new exotic multiplayer maps, plus an exciting new Zombies experience called “Mob of the Dead” that takes players to Alcatraz with four of the actors behind some of Hollywood's most iconic mobsters, including Ray Liotta, Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano, and Michael Madsen. Grammy Award Winner Miguel Gives Show-Stopping Performance at PURE Nightclub

Last night, Angel Management Group's PURE Nightclub welcomed GRAMMY Award-winner Miguel as he took over the mega-club and gave clubgoers a memorable performance. Around 1 a.m. the R&B singer, accompanied by his stunning girlfriend Nazanin Mandi, hit the red carpet and posed for photographers. Dressed to the nines, Miguel sported a fashionable tailored gray blazer, white tee-shirt and black fitted jeans while his sweetheart dawned a flattering yellow two-piece dress with black heels. Making their way into the mega-club the duo joined their entourage at their VIP table located on the main stage. Taking in the energy from the packed room, a humbled Miguel hopped on top of his plush booth and raised his glass to toast his admirers. (more...)
