BWW Reviews: Fusion Theatre Co. Presents HUMBLE BOY by Anya Sebastian - Apr 29, 2013
I have a great deal of respect and admiration for the Fusion Theatre Company. Their productions are highly professional, well produced and consistently deliver good, solid theatrical entertainment. So it pains me considerably to have to say that HUMBLE BOY, which opened at the Cell Theatre on April 25, falls disappointingly short of the mark. (more...)

THE SONGS OF RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN, an evening celebrating classic Rodgers and Hammerstein hits performed by a galaxy of Broadway stars, for one night only, Monday, June 10 at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). The Dallas Opera, Cowboys Stadium Announce a Simulcast of Puccini's TURANDOT by BWW News Desk - Feb 13, 2013
The Dallas Opera, in partnership with Cowboys Stadium and with support from The Dallas Foundation, is extremely proud to announce the second classical music simulcast conducted in a North Texas sports venue. The announcement was made this afternoon at a gathering of representatives of several prominent organizations and local media at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Participants included Dallas Opera General Director and CEO Keith Cerny; Gene Jones; Charlotte Jones Anderson, Executive Vice-President Brand Management/President of Charities; Dallas Foundations President Mary Jalonick; and Nicole Small, CEO of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Manhattan Theatre Club announces the guests for the upcoming Sloan panel discussing Sharr White's The Other Place. The panel will focus on the role of science in the play and will feature novelist Stefan Merrill Block, author of The Story of Forgetting; playwright Sharr White; neuroscientist Heather Berlin; and genetic counselor Jill Goldman. The panel will be moderated by NPR's Robert Krulwich. The panel will follow the 2 PM matinee performance today, January 27 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). (more...)
