HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING will go on a two day hiatus tomorrow, July 7 and Friday, July 8, to accommodate Daniel Radcliffe's previously scheduled Harry Potter promotional obligations in the UK. Potter premieres in Trafalger Square in London tomorrow, July 7. HOW TO SUCCEED will resume performances on Saturday, July 9 for the 8pm performance only as regularly scheduled. Warner Brothers bought out the Al Hirschfeld Theatre for these dates to get Radcliffe to London for the event. (more...)

HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING is on a two day hiatus Thursday, July 7 and Friday, July 8, to accommodate star of stage and screen Daniel Radcliffe's previously scheduled Harry Potter promotional obligations in the UK as the final film in the popular series officially opens. The highly anticipated new Potter film, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS - PART TWO premiered in Trafalger Square in London today, for which Radcliffe flew overnight after his 2 show day on Wednesday to make. HOW TO SUCCEED will resume performances on Saturday, July 9 for the 8pm performance only as regularly scheduled after the trouper wings his way back to the States. (more...)

Currently starring in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING on Broadway, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is busy promoting the release of the upcoming summer blockbuster: 'The Deathly Hallows Part II.' In a recent interview with British GQ, Radcliffe chatted about a drinking problem that developed over the course of his 'Potter' career and how he kicked it. (more...)

As previously reported, Wednesday night was to mark the 100th performance of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, but after a delay of just over one-hour, the show was cancelled. The audience was informed twice via announcements that there was a delay, followed by an onstage apperance by Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette who told the audience that the performance would not be taking place, citing a "tragedy within the company." It has since been revealed that the tragedy was the death of a 29-year old carpenter for the show due to an apparent accidental drug overdose (the official cause of death has not yet been declared). The stagehand's name has not been released and an investigation took place at the show's home at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre today. The LA Times has now reported that according to one law enforcement official, "at least a dozen packets that had contained heroin" were found in the stagehand's work area. The man was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital last night. (more...)

Daniel Radcliffe announced on his official facebook page last week that to celebrate the 100th performance of HOW TO SUCCEED, the first 50 people in line to purchase general rush tickets to the 8PM performance tonight, June 22nd will receive their pair of tickets for free, courtesy of the screen-turned-stage star himself. General rush tickets become available beginning at 10AM at the Al Hischfeld Theatre on June 22. Fans are encoured to line up earlier to save their place. (more...)

With the opening of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING happening just a few weeks ago, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is in the news yet again with the release of the theatrical trailer for the upcoming summer blockbuster: 'The Deathly Hallows Part II.' In the very final installmant of the series (released in theatres on July 15), Harry battles Lord Voldemort one final time in hopes of saving the wizarding world from a terrible fate. According to Daily Mail, GLEE star Chris Colfer is rumored to replace Daniel Radcliffe as J. Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway production of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. Colfer is best known for his portrayal of Kurt Hummel on Glee, for which he has received several nominations and awards, including the Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011. (more...)
