Dance Theatre of Harlem is taking the stage at New York City Center for their annual homecoming season through Sunday, April 23.

Dance Theatre of Harlem presents the world premiere of 'Sounds of Hazel,' a celebration of Hazel Scott, at Sidney Harman Hall.

Just last night, Dance Theatre of Harlem honored director, choreographer, actress and dancer Debbie Allen with the Arthur Mitchell Vision Award. The Chairman’s Award was given to Dr. Donald J. Rose and Dr. Wendy S. Ziecheck. 

Lake Tahoe Dance Collective enters its ninth year of presenting the Lake Tahoe Dance Festival, which will take place this summer from July 27-30, 2021 at 6pm at venues in Tahoe City and Truckee, CA for in-person audiences.

Celebrating the joy of dance and continuing its storied legacy, Dance Theatre of Harlem has announced a full slate of digital dance events this spring. During a season that would typically be jam-packed with touring engagements leading up to the company’s annual spring gala at New York City Center, DTH Company Artists are set to inspire an even wider audience – online – until New York entertainment venues can safely reopen with greater capacity. 

Dance Theatre of Harlem announced today a new slate of digital performances as part of its online streaming series, DTH On Demand, and events, including its annual Founders’ Week celebration, throughout February, the nation’s month to officially and proudly honor Black History.

Pointe Magazine has reported that ballet companies including Pennsylvania Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem are holding rehearsals via Zoom, while live performances continue to be put on hold.
