Midtown International Theatre Festival Kicks Off Today, 7/16

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) previously announced the lineup of full-length plays and musicals for its thirteenth season, running from today July 16 to August 5, 2012, at the June Havoc Theatre, 312 W. 36th Street, NYC, 1st floor; and the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, 312 W. 36th Street, 1st floor.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) has announced the lineup of full-length plays and musicals for its thirteenthseason, running from July 16 to August 5, 2012 at the June Havoc Theatre, 312 W. 36th Street, NYC, 1st floor; and the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, 312 W. 36th Street, 1st floor. Tickets are $15-18. Readings are free. Tickets are available at www.midtownfestival.org or by phone at 866-811-4111. The Festival also offers various group discounts and package passes, good for full-length and short plays.

Gennaro Productions in association with The Midtown International Theatre Festival present Vincent Gorliormella's new outrageous comedy WHATTA YA NUTS! directed by Charles Messina, choreographed by Tricia Brouk, with musical Direction by Ray Naccari and songs by Harold Arlen, Ted Koehler, John Fogerty, Johnny Mercer, Henry Mancini, Wham!, Tom Jones, Les Reed, Geoff Stephens, and Neil Diamond. The show stars Al Sapienza, Ernest Mingione, Alex Ishkanian, Gina Ferranti, Autumn Ready Potter, Steven LaChioma and Valerie Smaldone. WHATTA YA NUTS! plays July 19 - August 5 at the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36 Street - between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will open its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with the classic American musical, Guys and Dolls based on Runyon's comic tales of Broadway running June 2-12 in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre (Lower Jorgensen).
