A special engagement of Giselle Wolf Journeys: A Celebration will be performed at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, NYC. There will be three performances at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 9th; Wednesday, November 14th and on Thursday, November 15th. Musical direction by Ron Abel, and it is directed and developed with Karen Ludwig.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) just announced the 2012 recipients of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Initiative commissions for Manhattan Theatre Club. This year's six commissioned writers are April de Angelis (Jumpy), Nick Jones (The Coward), Heidi Schreck (Creature), Melissa Ross (Thinner Than Water), Sarah Treem (A Feminine Ending), and Bess Wohl (Barcelona).

Presented by 4Hawk Productions and The Neboya Collective, The Austin Pendleton Project: Where The Work Is is a documentary film currently in production.

The Colony Theatre Company presents the fourth production of its 35th anniversary season, the West Coast Premiere of CELADINE, written by Charles Evered and directed by Andrew Barnicle. CELADINE will run from February 6 to March 7.

The Colony's current production, Celadine, a bawdy comedy set in 17th century London seems the perfect complement to this delightful space. The first thing one notices upon taking your seat is the richness and intricate detail of Stephen Gifford's scenic design. Grainy woods, antique lighting fixtures and décor, really give an authentic feel to this 17th century tavern in which the show takes place. It demonstrates a tremendous amount of pride, attention, and care invested into the feel of this production. The costumes of designer A. Jeffrey Schoenberg are equally as elaborate.

In this, its ninth year in its beautiful home in Burbank, the multi-Ovation Award-winning theatre company will be taking its subscribers and audiences on five extraordinary journeys beginning with two boys who dream of becoming classical pianists to two men -- one twenty, one eighty -- forced together against their will; from a new play exploring President Abraham Lincoln's humanity to a musical revue that explores Jacques Brel's musical genius and then there's also a cross-dressing sexy romp thrown in for good measure!

On Wednesday, September 24 at there will be an informal reading of a new play written by Robeson Center 'Artist in Residence' Charles Evered. Evered's play 'Class' is a two character play about a jaded acting teacher and his mysterious new student.
