St. James' BULLY BOY Hosts Post-Show Q&A with Sandi Toksvig on World Mental Health Day, Oct 10

The St. James Theatre, in collaboration with Combat Stress, will mark World Mental Health Day tonight, 10 October with a Q&A session which will take place after the 7.30pm performance of Bully Boy. The panel will comprise Sandi Toksvig, Bully Boy's writer; Anthony Andrews, who plays Major Oscar Hadley in the production and Commodore Andrew Cameron, the Chief Executive of Veterans' mental health charity Combat Stress. Patrick Sandford, Bully Boy's director, will chair the event. The Q&A session is open to all audience members who have attended that evening's performance of Bully Boy. (more...)

The highly acclaimed Broadway production of End of the Rainbow, written by Peter Quilter and directed by Tony® Award winner Terry Johnson, will play its final performance on Sunday, August 19, it was announced today. The production, which began performances on Monday, March 19, 2012 and opened to rave reviews on Monday, April 2, will have played a total of 176 performances at Broadway's Belasco Theatre. Taking place at 12:45 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, April 21, the event, which is open to all interested Instagram enthusiasts, will offer participants an exclusive tour of the recently renovated theatre, which boasts one of New York's most beautiful neo-Georgian interiors. Producers Lee Dean, Laurence Myers, Jenny Topper and Joey Parnes announced today that they will present Peter Quilter's End of the Rainbow, a new play with music, on Broadway this spring, following a run at Minneapolis's Guthrie Theatre. Starring Olivier® Award-winner Tracie Bennett in a bravura performance as Judy Garland and directed by the Tony® Award winning Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow received rave reviews and four Olivier® Award nominations in London. Performances are scheduled to begin on Monday, March 19, 2012 at a Shubert Theatre (to be announced), with an opening night on Tuesday, April 3.
