Ars Nova today announced Killers on the Loose: The Songs of Leschen and Sauter. The twisted duo that hatched Bedbugs!!! (NYMF ’08), brings its unique brand of dark humor, pop culture commentary and rock/pop storytelling to this concert of new work, including selections from their new grunge-rock inspired spectacular Karma Kills. BROADWAY ROX, a new concert event, recently played Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South in Flushing Meadows Corona Park). Produced by Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, BROADWAY ROX celebrated the rock and pop hits of Broadway including songs from Wicked, Jersey Boys, Rent, The Who's Tommy, Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening, Hair, Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar and many more. The musical evening featured a 5 piece band with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Jason Howland (composer of Little Women) and is directed by Rob Evan and Rich Affannato.
