TOYS IN THE ATTIC to be Released on VOD 3/5

Freestyle Digital Media announces the release of the animated family film TOYS IN THE ATTIC on VOD in North America on March 5th. The film's English adaptation was written, produced and directed by Vivian Schilling and had a critically acclaimed, national US theatrical release last year. The film stars the voice over talent of Forest Whitaker ("Where the Wild Things Are"), Joan Cusack ("Toy Story 3"), Vivian Schilling ("Ambrose Bierce: Civil War Stories"), Douglas Urbanski ("The Social Network") and Cary Elwes ("Adventures of Tin Tin"). 3K Pictures announces today that veteran sales agent Mimi Steinbauer and her company Radiant Films International is handling all worldwide rights excluding North America to director Sam Kadi's debut drama THE CITIZEN. Previously, Steinbauer has handled international sales on titles such as Academy Award winning THE HURT LOCKER, GHOSTRIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE 3D, BLUE VALENTINE and the box office phenomenon LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. THE CITIZEN was produced by Kadi, Chris Wyatt (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE) and Alan Noel Vega, with Ameer Kabour executive producing. The film is currently scheduled to screen for distributors at the upcoming American Film Market after the international premiere at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival on October 14th. (more...)

Attending the 13th Annual Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) Awards presented by Delta Air Lines this Monday, October 8, 2012 will be SAG-AFTRA elected leadership reps that include national SAG-AFTRA Co- President, Roberta Reardon and national SAG-AFTRA Co-Treasurer and Co-Secretary, Amy Aquino. Also joining the celebration will be Tony Plana, Tony Shalhoub, Brooke Adams and CNN's Jane Vélez-Mitchell. A special tribute to the late Lupe Ontiveros will be given by Latin Heat Editor and co-host of 'HOLA L.A.' Bel Hernández. Odalys Molina and Jorge Ramos will serve as the Masters of Ceremonies of this year's HOLA Awards. (more...)
