TVguide.com reports that a 'highly placed source' who has ties to the recently announced 'Star Wars Episode VII film, had some exciting news to share with fans of the scifi classic. Referring to the original three stars, Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, he revealed, 'Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he's upbeat about it, all three of them are.' (more...)

Harrison Ford 'Open' to Reprising His Role as Han Solo in STAR WARS VII

As Entertainment Weekly reported this evening, Han Solo himself, Harrison Ford, is apparently open to the idea of reprising his role as space captain Han Solo in the upcoming STAR WARS film. STAR WARS VII is tentatively set for a 2015 release date following Disney's acquisition of Lucas Arts.

The multi-award-winning NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHoAce) presents a world premiere play, ONE NOVEMBER YANKEE, written and directed by Joshua Ravetch and starring four-time Golden Globe nominee Harry Hamlin and two-time Emmy winner Loretta Swit. ONE NOVEMBER YANKEE will preview on Tuesday, November 13 at 8pm; Wednesday, November 14 at 8pm; Thursday, November 15 at 8pm and will open on Friday, November 16 at 8pm and will run for eight weeks through Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. (at Lankershim) in North Hollywood. As BroadwayWorld first reported, a reading is currently taking place for SOAP DISH THE MUSICAL, directed by Rob Ashford, with a book by Robert Harling, music by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The cast of includes Kristin Chenoweth, John Stamos, Jane Krakowski, Cristin Milioti, Anne L. Nathan, Michael Park, Miriam Shor and Daniel Torres. At this time there has been no formal announcement, or set timetable for the show. The reading is being presented by Laurence Mark, Donald De Line and Broadway Across America.
