Atlantic Theater Company stages the world premiere production of Fireflies, written by Donja R. Love and directed by Saheem Ali. Fireflies is the second part of Donja R. Marginal Loss is a play written by Deborah Stein about an investment firm previously located in the Twin Towers trying to gather the fragments of their business in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy. They find themselves working at a backup facility in New Jersey struggling with limited resources and wondering which of their coworkers made it out alive.

Dynamic songstress Beverly Taki takes the stage with the David Shenton Orchestra to entertain with her show, 'From Memphis to Chicago: Blues Classics' on Sunday, August 6th at 7 p.m. at the Metropolitan Room.

Amelie, A New Musical won the hearts of Bay Area audiences this fall, and according to the Record, it might soon win the hearts of New York audiences. Director Pam MacKinnon revealed in a recent interview that she hopes the show will arrive on Broadway in the next year and a half.
