North Coast Rep presents AN EVENING WITH C.S. LEWIS starring David Payne.  The year is 1962 and C.S. Lewis, the famous British author, is hosting a group of American writers at his home near Oxford. They are about to experience a captivating evening with a man whose engaging conversation and spontaneous humor made him one of the great raconteurs of his day.

Florida Repertory Theatre has announced its 25th Anniversary Season in the Historic Arcade and ArtStage Studio Theatres. The 2022-2023 Season opens to previews in the ArtStage Studio on September 20, and the nine-show season runs through May 21, 2023.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by Joseph Robinette and directed by Mike Jimena is set to play at the Sutter Street Theatre, located at 717 Sutter Street, Folsom CA 95630. This dramatization of C.S. Lewis’ classic, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan.

Dallas Children's Theater is taking audiences to Narnia in THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE running April 3 – May 15, 2022.

Society for the Performing Arts (SPA) will present An Evening with Chris Thile, the multi-Grammy Award-winning mandolin virtuoso, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, 7:30 PM, at the Wortham Center’s Cullen Theater. 

Presented by Fellowship for Performing Arts, The Most Reluctant Convert: The Untold Story of C.S. Lewis is a new film tracing the spiritual journey of renowned author of The Chronicles of Narnia. The new biopic, directed by double-Emmy and double-BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker Norman Stone , stars Max McLean and Nicholas Ralph. 

Through an imagined conversation between a psychiatrist on the brink and the academic who would go on to write books steeped in theology, the play gives a heightened tension to the age old questions of faith, love, sex and existence itself.
