Friends In Deed will present a legendary trio as Charles Busch, Whoopi Goldberg and Lypsinka star in the first-ever New York presentation of the infamous Broadway-play-that-wasn't, LEGENDS!. Written by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner James Kirkwood (A Chorus Line), the play will be presented in a special One Night Only staged reading benefit on Monday evening, March 23 at 8PM at Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street).

King Blues Club & Grill (237 West 42 St.), in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Sure to out-do last year's collection, 40 one-of-a-kind BROADWAY BEARS - each dressed in original, handmade costumes representing some of the theater?s most legendary performers and/or performances ? will be put up for auction.
Once again this year's BROADWAY BEARS will be hosted by Bryan Batt ('Mad Men,' La Cage Aux Folles, Beauty and the Beast, Jeffrey) with long-time Sotheby's auctioneer, Lorna Kelly.

Variety is reporting that the 'Mad Men' musical revue that played the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles last month as a benefit for the L.A. chapter of the Recording Academy will continue in some form with future dates being planned, but it is in the very early stages of development explains the trade paper.
