Working Theater presents the world premiere of KING OF SHADOWS, a new Off-Broadway play by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, author of GOOD BOYS AND TRUE, BASED ON A TOTALLY TRUE STORY and DARK MATTERS, set to begin previews September 2, prior to its official press opening September 7 at Theater for the New City (155 First Avenue) in Manhattan.

The Edgerton Foundation has announced their selected plays for 2008. The plays listed below are funded by the Edgerton Foundation's New American Play Awards. Since 2006, this funding program has provided over twenty TCG member theatres with financial resources to increase rehearsal time with the full production team onsite at the theatre. More recipients will be added soon.

Raymond Gubbay will present the Carl Rosa Opera Company, currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, in the return of Gilbert & Sullivan to the West End for a limited five-week season at the Gielgud Theatre from January 30 - March 1, 2008. There will be special guest performances from Jo Brand, Nichola McAuliffe and Alistair McGowan.
