Chris Colfer's STRUCK BY LIGHTNING Premieres in Theaters Today by Movies News Desk - Jan 06, 2013
Tribeca Film, in a partnership with Emerging Pictures, will be bringing Glee star, Chris Colfer's film debut, Struck by Lightning, to theaters nationwide for a one night only special interactive Q&A screening. This special theatrical event will be hosted by cinemas across the country today, January 6th, the same night as the film's red carpet premiere. Fans all over the U.S. will be virtually united and given the unique chance to see the high school comedy in theaters before its January 11th release date. (more...)

Tribeca Film, in a partnership with Emerging Pictures, will be bringing Glee star, Chris Colfer's film debut, Struck by Lightning, to theaters nationwide for a one night only special interactive Q&A screening. This special theatrical event will be hosted by cinemas across the country Sunday, January 6th, the same night as the film's red carpet premiere. Fans all over the U.S. will be virtually united and given the unique chance to see the high school comedy in theaters before its January 11th release date. Colfer will participate remotely from the LA premiere for a live and interactive webcast Q&A at the conclusion of the film. Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions via social media. The excitement of last weekend's opening night performance of Cyrano by Stephen Sachs, a co-production between The Fountain Theatre and Deaf West Theatre, was given an added thrill by the attendance of film/TV actress Marlee Matlin. Matlin is a longtime supporter and patron of Deaf West, and she starred in the CBS television movie version of Sachs' 1997 play Sweet Nothing in my Ear, which also premiered at the Fountain.
