The Harris Theater for Music and Dance announced today the exciting performances that will celebrate its first decade. The Theater's inaugural performance was held on November 8, 2003. Today, nearly 10 years later, the Harris will reflect on its past, present, and future with the 2013-2014 Harris Theater Presents series. The season is comprised of important premieres and debuts, along with returning favorites. The Theater's more than 35 diverse resident companies will also shine in the spotlight with a dazzling array of performances throughout the entire season. (more...)

ODC Theater's annual fringe-style festival returns for a second year with samplings of contemporary dance from around the nation. Over two days, Friday, May 31 - Saturday, June 1, 2013 the Festival will feature three separate programs designed to spark conversation. This year's superb roster of artists includes Brian Brooks Moving Company; casebolt and smith; Nicole Klaymoon's Embodiment Project; ODC/Dance; Rachael Lincoln and Leslie Seiters; Kate Weare and Company; and Scott Wells and Dancers. FSLC to Launch Daily Radio Show from Sundance Film Festival by Movies News Desk - Jan 16, 2013
The Film Society of Lincoln Center will kick off a daily radio program tomorrow from the 2013 Sundance Film Festival called Film Society's Daily Buzz with Eugene Hernandez. The daily radio show, recorded live each morning at the Village at the Lift on Main St. in Park City is hosted by the Film Society of Lincoln Center's Eugene Hernandez, a co-founder of Indiewire who is celebrating his 20th anniversary of attending the festival. Works & Process at the Guggenheim has announced its spring 2013 season. Since 1984, the performing-arts series has championed new works and offered audiences unprecedented access to leading creators and performers. Each intimate, 80-minute performance uniquely combines artistic creation and stimulating conversation and takes place in the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed, 285-seat Peter B. Lewis Theater, where new reserved seating is now offered. A reception for the audience and artists follows most programs. Described by the New York Times as "a popular series devoted to shedding light on the creative process," Works & Process is produced by founder Mary Sharp Cronson.
