History & Lifetime Launch Production on BONNIE & CLYDE Miniseries

Bonnie & Clyde, a star-studded miniseries for HISTORY and LIFETIME, has begun filming on location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The four-hour, two-night event miniseries stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) in the title roles of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, the Depression-era Outlaw couple whose criminal exploits have assured them lasting fame for eight decades. Bonnie & Clyde will be simulcast on HISTORY and Lifetime later this year. The announcement was made by Nancy Dubuc, President, Entertainment and Media, A+E Networks. (more...)

Sarah Hyland Signs on for Lifetime & History's BONNIE & CLYDE Miniseries

Sarah Hyland is going from a MODERN FAMILY to a slightly more criminal one. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the young actress has officially signed on to join Lifetime and History's upcoming four-part miniseries chronicling the life of the young vigilante duo. The special stars Emile Hirsch as the 'charismatic armed robber' Clyde Barrow, and Holliday Grainger as Bonnie Parker. (more...)

CINDERELLA Begins Rehearsals, Shifts Opening Night Again; Will Now Open March 3

Rehearsals for RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella will begin Thursday, December 6 with preview performances starting January 25 prior to Opening Night on Sunday, March 3. (The previously announced opening date of February 24 turned out to be Oscar Night.) Happy Birthday Laura Osnes! Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease. On March 10, 2009 Osnes took over the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush from Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara, who went on maternity leave, in the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway revival of South Pacific. She then starred as Hope Harcourt, alongside Sutton Foster and Joel Grey, in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. Osnes then played Bonnie Parker opposite Jeremy Jordan in Bonnie & Clyde, which opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in 2011. She will soon lead the upcoming revival of Cinderella. (more...)

According to MTI's official website, BONNIE & CLYDE, which last year played the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, is now available for licensing. In the show, two small-town kids from the middle of nowhere became the biggest folk heroes in all America. They craved adventure-and each other. Their names were Bonnie and Clyde. (more...)

Productions, LLC is set to launch their new season with a limited revival of Clay Edmonds' play SICKS: An Evening with Six of the Most Notorious Women in History which will run from September 11-16 at walkerspace.
