Dancers Over 40's The Sassy Splits has joined the Broadway Show Bowling League for it's 2023 season.  Every Thursday evening, actors and staff of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows compete in the Broadway Show Bowling League. Games are played from 11:15 PM to 2 AM at Port Authority's Leisure Time Bowling Alley. Check out photos here!

A star-studded lineup is set to join the worldly travels of Broadway Bares: Take Off, this year's wanderlust-inducing edition of spectacular striptease. The special evening on Sunday, June 16, 2019, with performances at 9:30 pm and midnight is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Bridgeport High School will be presenting the three-time Tony award winning Broadway Musical Barnum in the Bridgeport High School Theatre. With music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Michael Stewart and a book by Mark Bramble, this musical will transport you to the circus as you learn about the life of famed showman P.T. Barnum.

A spirited audience of thousands went back to campus with stripped-down collegians who offered a sexy lacrosse scrimmage, a Pavlovian psychology experiment, a pumped-up pep rally and a fierce feminist studies class at Broadway Bares: Strip U, this year's edition of the annual highly choreographed, highly produced striptease spectacular. Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Bares: Strip U raised $1,568,114 in two performances on June 18, 2017, at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. Queens Theatre (QT) celebrated its 25th Anniverary with a gala on June 2, 2014 at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY 11368). The gala honored Euripides Pelekanos who is the co-founder and CEO of Queens favorite burger spot, Bareburger. The Group Theatre Too (GTT) presents its seventh annual Choreographer's Canvas, a one- night event featuring the works of over fifteen established and emerging choreographers from around the country. The Canvas, headed by GTT Executive Producer Justin Boccitto, will play at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center Friday, May 2nd and showcase many styles of dance including tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, theatre dance, aerial and this year bellydancing. For the past 6 years the Canvas has presented over 75 choreographers, giving opportunity to over 500 dancers performing to sold-out houses. The event is sponsored by Broadway Dance Center, Capezio, Manhattan Movement and the Society of Directors and Choreographers as well as numerous arts philanthropists.

The Group Theatre Too (GTT) recently presented its sixth annual Choreographer's Canvas, a one-night event featuring the works of over fifteen established and emerging choreographers from around the country. The Canvas, headed by GTT Executive Producer Justin Boccitto, played at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center on Saturday May 18th and showcased many styles of dance including tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, theatre dance, aerial and this year swing dance. For the past 6 years the Canvas has presented over 65 choreographers, giving opportunity to over 450 dancers performing to sold houses. Check out photos from the event below!

Hello! I'm Molly Tynes from the Broadway cast of 'Pippin.' Many of you may remember my BroadwayWorld blogs from this past November about the American Repertory Theatre's production of 'Pippin.' I am so pleased to be blogging again for the month of March - this time about the Broadway production of the show!
