BOB MARLEY'S THREE LITTLE BIRDS to Open Off-Broadway at New Victory Theatre, Feb. 2014

Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) and Producing Artistic Director Michael J. Bobbitt announce the NY Off-Broadway Premiere of Bob Marley's Three Little Birds at the New Victory Theatre February 7-23, 2013 after a local run at the recently completed Bowie State Fine and Performing Arts Center in January, 2014. Three Little Birds premiered at Adventure Theatre MTC in March 2013 and is based on the book by Cedella Marley with music & lyrics by reggae legend Bob Marley, and enjoyed a well-received run earlier this season. Ticket information for the season is at available at NewVictory.org and at (646) 223-3010. Ticket information will be announced for the Bowie State Fine and Performing Arts Center later this year. Tickets Go on Sale 5/22 for Lincoln Center's MIDSUMMER NIGHT SWING

Tickets go on sale for Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing starting Wednesday, May 22. Individual tickets are $17, which includes a dance lesson with a professional instructor followed by two sets of dancing under the stars to a live orchestra. This summer marks the 25th Anniversary season of Midsummer Night Swing, and to celebrate, tickets will be sold at a special '2 for $25' price on May 22 only. There are also Midsummer Night Passes priced at $84 for six admissions, and $170 for the full season. Four-admission passes are available for $60. (more...)

The Inaugural LP Tour Added to 2013 Beach Concert Series at Mandalay Bay

Making its debut at the Mandalay Bay Beach Friday, July 19 at 8 p.m., The LP Tour features four incredible bands as they play their most celebrated albums front to back. This year's bands include Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Soul Asylum, The Wailers and Matthew Sweet. Tickets are priced at $42.50. St. Louis County Library continues its year–long Black History Celebration with a variety of programs and activities throughout the summer months. The line-up includes a performance by Kim Massie, thought-provoking discussions about current racial issues, musical revues, children's programming and an authors and artists expo. Indianapolis-based singer-songwriter Cory Williams will release his debut solo record The Outcome June 4, following a special record-release show May 31 at Radio Radio (1119 Prospect Street) in Fountain Square right outside of downtown Indianapolis. Wolf Trap Adds Nine Shows to 2013 Summer Filene Center Season, Tickets on Sale Today

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced the addition of nine new performances to its highly anticipated 2013 summer season at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. This announcement highlights seven acts making their headlining debut, including rock legend Billy Idol with special guest Cat Power on June 20, rock bands Smash Mouth and Fastball on a bill with several other alt-rock stalwarts as part of the Under the Sun tour line-up on August 6, indie turned iTunes chart-topping American rock band Grace Potter & The Nocturnals on August 15, and pop phenomenon Carly Rae Jepsen on August 28.
