UglyRhino Announces WAREHOUSE OF HORRORS 10/26 & 31

UglyRhino Productions announces the addition of two themed dance parties to the schedule for their interactive haunted warehouse experience,Warehouse of Horrors: Gowanus '73, based on true events that happened in and around The Brooklyn Lyceum in the 1970s. On Today, October 26 following the show at 8pm there will be a 70s themed dance party featuring DJ Brian Blackout and on Wednesday, October 31 there will be a special Halloween costume party. Admission to both parties is free after 10:30pm and all costumed guests will receive a free specialty shot. (more...)

2011 NY Innovative Theatre Awards Honor Robert Patrick et al.' Winners Announced!

On Monday September 19, 2011, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host comedian Harrison Greenbaum, announced the 2011 recipients at the Seventh Annual IT Awards Ceremony at Cooper Union.
This year's nominees represent 169 individual artists, 55 productions and 45 theatre companies. In 2011, the IT Awards had the most individual nominees than in any previous season with 169 nominees. (more...)

JuniorGenius is the latest production from Manhattan Theatre Source. New York's brightest, young acting talent will take over the fabulous brick-box theatre space from August 11-14th. They will be presenting new work written by 11-18s, as well as improvisations around traditional children's literature and showcasing the work of existing kids' theater camps. (more...)

Manhattan Theatre Source presents the world premiere of Billy Carver AND THE CHILDREN IN MIND from July 7th to the 24th. There will be a fundraiser event on July 3rd at 2 PM where preview scenes will be featured. Tickets are $18 and are available through Theatermania at theatermania.com or at (866) 811-4111. Performance times are 8 PM performances, Wednesdays through Saturdays, and 2 PM performances on Sundays. (more...)
