After a tremendously successful partnership distributing AMC's wildly popular series, 'The Walking Dead', Anchor Bay Entertainment announced today a new deal with AMC's parent company, AMC Networks, for home entertainment distribution across the company's networks including AMC, IFC and Sundance Channel.

Anchor Bay Films kicks off the 2013 Sundance Film Festival with the pick-up of The Rambler starring Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding, The Grey). Written and directed by Calvin Lee Reeder, the film is set to premiere on Monday, January 21st (11:59pm) during Park City at Midnight. The agreement covers theatrical, home entertainment, television and digital distribution rights in the North America, the U.K. and Australia. Today's announcement was made by Anchor Bay Entertainment's President Bill Clark.

Pioneer Theatre Company's Loge Gallery has held over its exhibit "Setting the Stage: Fifty Years of Pioneer Theatre Design," a collection of theatrical renderings from dozens of designers whose creations have been brought to life on the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre's main stage since its inaugural season in 1962. Though he did have a brief - very brief - stint on Broadway before Lemon Sky premiered in 1970 at midtown's Off-Broadway Playhouse Theatre, Lanford Wilson was still at that point regarded as a downtown playwright.  One of the leading scribes of the crew consisting predominantly of gay men who created Off-Off Broadway at Caffe Cino, his career would seriously take off shortly after Lemon Sky's run with The Hot l Baltimore, Fifth of July, Talley's Folly (Pulitzer winner) and Burn This.
