Lakewood Theatre Company's 59th season is right on target as it continues with the classic American musical, Annie Get Your Gun. The production, directed by Ron Daum, presents the story of rough and tumble Annie Oakley and her rise to fame and romance with headliner Frank Butler. The work focuses on a troubled sixteen-year old trying to come to terms with his sexuality in the face of ridicule and prejudice. The play explores the responsibilities we all have to communicate with our youth and teach our children to celebrate their differences instead of denigrating them. (more...)

In Rome, Italy on Thursday, September 23rd there was a press conference announcing the World Premiere of Frank J. Avella's new play "Vatican Falls" at Teatro Il Vascello. It will open on May 2, 2011.
