Renovated HERE Arts Center Reopens 'With A Twist'

The all-new fully renovated HERE Arts Center proudly reopens its doors this Spring with Arias with a Twist, a premiere production from New York favorites Joey Arias and Basil Twist. Arias with a Twist marks the 10th Anniversary of the Dream Music Puppetry Program and the Dorothy B. Williams Theatre at HERE Arts Center. The production is presented as part of HERE's 2007-2008 season of new multi-disciplinary productions spanning theatre, dance, puppetry and multimedia work, which includes Dream Music programming. Arias with a Twist will run Thursday, June 12 - Saturday, July 13 at HERE Arts Center (145 Sixth Avenue).
South Coast Rep Announces Season Line-Up

South Coast Repertory's Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) will celebrate its 11th annual edition with a lineup composed of seven SCR-commissioned plays from an array of writers. Since its creation in 1998, PPF has grown into one of the most important festivals of new scripts in the United States. This year's Festival will take place during the May 2 through May 4 weekend with a workshop production, four staged readings and two fully-staged World Premieres on South Coast Repertory's two major stages. 'Another Vermeer,' Starring Pendleton, Opens 3/29

Abingdon Theatre Company will conclude its 2007-2008 season with Bruce J. Robinson's drama Another Vermeer featuring Austin Pendleton and directed by Kelly Morgan, March 29 - April 20, 2008 at Abingdon's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre.
Eustis, London, Kushner and Others to Speak at John Belluso's Memorial Service February 27

The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Mara Manus, Executive Director) and New Dramatists (Todd London, Artistic Director; Joel Ruark, Executive Director) will hold a memorial service for the Playwright John Belluso, who died on Friday, February 10, 2006. The service will be held at The Public Theater on Monday, February 27th at 7:00 PM. It will be open to the general public.
