Lincoln Center Theater Extends 4000 MILES Through 7/1

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of André Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that it will extend the run of its critically acclaimed production of Amy Herzogs 4000 MILES, directed by Daniel Aukin, for a second time, through Sunday, July 1 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). The original run of the production was extended through Sunday, June 17 after 4000 MILES opened to critical acclaim in early April. ( more...)

Lincoln Center Theater Extends 4000 MILES Through June 17

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of André Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that it will extend the run of its critically acclaimed production of Amy Herzogs 4000 MILES, directed by Daniel Aukin, through Sunday, June 17 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). The production, which features Gabriel Ebert, Greta Lee, Mary Louise Wilson and Zoë Winters, began performances March 15, opened on April 2 and originally scheduled to run through Sunday, May 20, had its world premiere last June as a production of LCT3, Lincoln Center Theaters programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences. Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that Elizabeth Marvel will return to the cast of its critically acclaimed production of OTHER DESERT CITIES, a new play by Jon Robin Baitz, directed by Joe Mantello, beginning Tuesday, March 6 at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45 Street). Ms. Marvel, who created the role of Brooke Wyeth when OTHER DESERT CITIES premiered at LCTs Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater last winter, will join Stockard Channing, Stacy Keach, Judith Light and Justin Kirk in the production, replacing Rachel Griffiths who will play her final performance in the play on Sunday, March 4. Womack, Szot Lead SOUTH PACIFIC UK Tour

Paulo Szot, who has recently emerged as one of the most exciting voices in opera and who won a Tony for his performance as Emile de Becque in the Lincoln Center Theater (Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) production of SOUTH PACIFIC, will be recreating the role of the French plantation owner at the Barbican Centre in London, where the production will run for a limited season of 7 weeks only from 15 August to 1 October, with an opening night on 23 August.
