I have to admit, a lot of days I will ignore the basic sale email from big department stores because at off times of the year, the sales aren't usually that impressive. But this morning, when I got my usual Bergdorf Goodman email, I guess something in the back of my mind reminded me that a holiday weekend was coming up, combined with their 'New Additions to 5F Sale' headline, and I clicked. Boy, am I glad I did!

The Tank will present the World Premiere of Marta Mozelle MacRostie's Close to Decline, as part of Flint & Tinder, their curated theater series, March 22-April 13. MacRostie brings this unique new work to The Tank after a highly praised workshop performance in the 2012 Puppet Lab at St. Ann's Warehouse.

Fashion designer Alfred Fiandaca, 72, passed away from a stroke on Saturday morning. Fiandaca creations for Ann Romney garned positive press when she wore them on the campaign trail last fall. His classic and flattering designs appealed to a variety of political wives including Nancy Reagan, Lady Bird Johnson, Muriel Humphrey, Kitty Dukakis and Joan Kennedy. He designed for Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews, too.

Neiman Marcus announced Walter Chin as the photographer of The Art of Fashion campaign for Spring 2013. The campaign includes twenty-two images of spring fashions and will appear in the March edition of the Neiman Marcus publication, the book.
