Relativity Music Group and Republic Records will release the original motion picture soundtrack to Relativity Media's upcoming deeply romantic thriller Safe Haven on February 5th. The soundtrack features original tracks "We Both Know," written and performed by Republic Records' two-time Grammy Award-winner Colbie Caillat and RCA Records' multi-platinum recording artist Gavin DeGraw (http://smarturl.it/ColbieWeBothKnowiTns ) and "The Journey" by FM Radio. Tristan Prettyman, Irish singer/songwriter Gareth Dunlop and a host of new talent also contributed tracks. The surf community proved to be a big stepping stone for Howard, who found himself playing to packed audiences long before his music spread beyond the U.K. beaches. He continued developing his style, too, adding a percussive element to his playing by learning to rap his knuckles across the guitar body between strums.

New York's Rock and Roots radio station WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) is releasing FUV Live 15, the latest collection of exclusive, live performances from its own Studio A, in time for its fall membership drive, which begins on September 27. The 20-track CD includes performances from a broad range artists - veterans like Bonnie Raitt and Ryan Adams, indie favorites such as Blitzen Trapper, Feist, and The Shins, and hot newcomers like Gary Clark Jr., Dawes, and Alabama Shakes. Communion, the most reliable source for breaking artists, has announced details of its upcoming August show at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn. On August 2, fans will enjoy one of the best lineups yet, with sets by Communion co-founder Ben Lovett as DJ; Vacationer (Downtown Records); esteemed pianist/songwriter/producer Aaron Embry and; Caleb Hawley, a diverse singer/songwriter who has shared the stage with industry greats such as Mark Cohn, Rusted Root, Dave Matthews Band, Shawn Mullins and Edwin McCain. Embry will also accompany Lovett and his band, Mumford & Sons, at their sold-out show in Hoboken on August 1.
